FarmGate

Farms meet communities — weekly harvests claimed, packed, and picked up without the middlemen.

FarmGate connects farms with communities: the weekly harvest goes up, members claim what they want, the farm packs it, and pickup or delivery closes the loop.

The shortest distance between a farm and a dinner table.

What it does for you

  • Harvest to claim in one flow

The farm posts the weekly harvest; community members claim shares before it's picked. The farm harvests to order, not to hope.

  • Pack lists that write themselves

Claims roll up into pack lists per member — the farm packs exactly what's claimed, nothing wasted.

  • Pickup or delivery, honestly priced

Delivery is a separate honest line item — never buried in the produce price. Members see what the food costs and what the trip costs.

  • Farmers get the farm's share

Direct weekly sales cut the chain that leaves farmers with 11.8¢ of the food dollar (USDA ERS, 2024). The math is the mission.

Capabilities

  • Weekly harvest posting with claim windows
  • Member claiming with share and add-on support
  • Auto-generated pack lists per member
  • Pickup scheduling — delivery as a separate line item
  • Deterministic pricing aids: cost-plus, comparable, seasonal
  • Two-way reviews with replace/refund/credit make-good
  • Community appreciation adjustment for direct farmer support

Proof, not adjectives

Concept with a full design
Weekly harvest → claim → pack → pickup/delivery → review is designed end to end, including deterministic pricing aids and a make-good flow for quality issues.
Graduation-audited
Scored 4/4 on the graduation audit — big enough for its own pipeline, with its own data model and revenue.
Research-backed pricing
Pricing tools draw on USDA AMS/NASS market references and farmdoc budgets — real references, not vibes.

The design vs what's purchasable today

FarmGate is a concept with a complete design — not yet purchasable. These platforms are live today, with real farms and real pricing. The table shows where the design goes further, and what's honestly not built yet.

Buy it or rent it — your call

Every Creytix tool carries both prices. Buy it outright and own it forever, or rent it month to month — renting is always cheaper than buying. No per-seat traps, no forced bundle.

Questions, answered honestly

Is FarmGate live?

No — it's a concept with a complete design, scored 4/4 for graduation into its own pipeline. We're building toward a pilot; join the list if you farm or you eat.

Why is it called FarmGate?

It's the working name — the gate between the farm and the community. The name may change before launch; the design won't.

How do farmers get paid?

In fiat, directly — produce is real commerce. Community labor (packing help, pickup hosting) can earn points, but the food itself is paid for. That's a deliberate design choice.

What does delivery cost?

Delivery is priced as its own line item, separate from the produce — so members see the true cost of the trip and farms aren't subsidizing logistics invisibly.

What if the produce is bad?

The two-way review loop includes a make-good flow: replace, refund, or credit. Quality issues resolve in the open, not in a chargeback.

Why not just a farmers market?

Farmers markets are great and this doesn't replace them. FarmGate is the weekly subscription version: claimed before harvest, packed to order, with the logistics handled — for communities that want the market to come to them.

From the Creytix journal

Farm-to-table unit economics, honestly

Farmers received 11.8¢ of each 2024 food dollar. Direct weekly harvest-to-community sales can fix that — but only if the unit economics work: pricing, delivery as a line item, and the claim rate that decides everything.
