Tokens & brand switcher
Semantic tokens, palettes, and per-tenant brand switching.

Warning
Overview
Tokens & brand switcher is the semantic token system behind every Creytix site's colors, type, and spacing — and, as it finishes building, a tool for switching those tokens per brand or tenant without touching page code.
How it works
- Semantic tokens — Design Labs defines color, type, and spacing as named tokens rather than raw values, so a site's look is governed centrally.
- Per-tenant palettes — each brand or tenant can carry its own token values while every route still reads the same token names.
- Switching (building) — a live, in-studio control for swapping a tenant's palette is what's currently in progress.
Steps
- •
Open tokens in Design Labs
From Design Labs, open the tokens view for your workspace.
- •
Review the semantic token set
Check the current color, type, and spacing tokens your routes read from.
- •
Preview a tenant's palette (building)
The live in-studio switcher for previewing a tenant's palette is part of what's still shipping.
- •
Request a token change
Until switching ships, palette changes go through Design Labs governance as a token-source update.
Capabilities
- Semantic token system (color, type, spacing) already powering shipped routes.
- Per-tenant palette values today, wired through Design Labs' token source.
- Live in-studio brand switcher — building.
- Governance review on token changes, carrying over once switching ships.
Limits & honest scope
Creytix Tokens & brand switcher is building.
- What's live: the semantic token system itself — every shipped Creytix route already reads from tokens, not hardcoded values.
- What's not live yet: a self-serve, in-studio control for switching between tenant palettes without editing the token source directly.
- Until the switcher ships, changing a tenant's palette is a token-source change reviewed through Design Labs — not a self-serve toggle.
