Forge Prompt Studio
Author, tag, and version the prompts that drive generation across the workspace.

Overview
Forge Prompt Studio is where the prompts that drive generation across your workspace get written down, tagged, and versioned — instead of living in someone's chat history or a one-off document that nobody can find the next time you need it.
How it works
- Author — write a prompt tied to a specific purpose, such as brand naming or a generation step in your workspace.
- Tag — attach the prompt to the workflow step it belongs to, so it's discoverable by anyone building on the same site.
- Version — every edit keeps history, so a regenerate references a specific, known version of the prompt — not "whatever it said last."
Steps
- •
Open Prompt Studio
From Forge, open Prompt Studio for your workspace.
- •
Author a prompt
Draft a prompt tied to the workflow step it will drive — naming, intake, or another generation step.
- •
Tag it to a step
Attach the prompt to the tool or step it belongs to, so it surfaces where the team expects it.
- •
Version and reuse
Save changes as new versions and reference a specific version when you run a generation.
Capabilities
- Prompt authoring tied to a workspace and a specific generation step.
- Tagging so prompts are discoverable by the workflow they drive, not buried in chat history.
- Version history per prompt, so regenerates are reproducible.
- Feeds Forge tools — Brand naming and other intake steps draw from prompts authored here.
Limits & honest scope
- Prompt Studio manages the prompts Forge and its sibling tools use — it is not a general-purpose prompt marketplace or public prompt library.
- Versioning tracks prompt text and usage; it does not run model evals itself — pair it with Creytix Prompt Guard for guardrail and eval coverage.
- Coverage is centered on Forge's own workflows today; authoring surfaces for other departments are still growing.
