Site Forge intake

Pattern brief, route classes, and the Brand DNA lock gate that starts every build.

Overview

Site Forge intake is the first gate every new site passes through in Creytix — before anything generates, you answer a pattern brief, Forge classifies which route patterns the site needs, and the build stops at a Brand DNA lock gate until the name and direction are settled.

How it works

  1. Pattern brief — structured questions about what the site is, who it's for, and what it needs to do capture the brief once, in one place.
  2. Route classes — Forge classifies the brief into the route patterns the site needs (for example, a landing-heavy marketing site versus a catalog-driven storefront).
  3. Brand DNA lock gate — the build cannot scaffold past this point until the name, domain, and core brand direction are locked.

Steps

  1. Start the intake

Open Site Forge intake for a new site and begin the pattern brief.

  2. Answer the pattern brief

Describe the site's purpose, audience, and the outcomes it needs to support.

  3. Confirm route classes

Review the route patterns Forge classifies from your brief and confirm or adjust them.

  4. Clear the Brand DNA lock gate

Settle naming and direction (via Brand naming) and lock it — this unblocks scaffolding.

Capabilities

  • Structured pattern brief — one intake questionnaire instead of a freeform kickoff.
  • Route class classification — Forge maps your brief to supported route patterns.
  • Brand DNA lock gate — a hard checkpoint; nothing scaffolds without it.
  • Scaffold hand-off — a locked intake registers the site and hands it to Design Labs and Studio.

Limits & honest scope

  • Intake produces a scaffold and a registry entry — it is not a finished page builder; Design Labs and Studio still do the build-out.
  • Route classes reflect the patterns Creytix currently supports, not an open-ended arbitrary site generator.
  • Once Brand DNA is locked, changing it means re-opening the gate — it isn't a live-editable toggle mid-build.
