Creytix Convert
Every unit, every currency. No signal required.
A unit and currency converter where the units work fully offline — length, weight, temperature, data, cooking, and more — with currency rates cached for when you're off the grid.
Convert anything, anywhere — even in airplane mode.
What it does for you
Units are pure math — no internet needed
A mile is always 1.60934 kilometers. There's no reason a converter should need a server to tell you that. Every unit conversion runs on-device, instantly, offline.
Currency that survives the flight
Exchange rates are cached from your last connection, so the converter keeps working abroad without roaming. Rates are timestamped, so you always know how fresh they are.
No ads between you and the answer
Currency apps are some of the most ad-dense on the store — banners over the keypad, video ads between conversions. Convert has no ad SDK at all.
Built for real life, not just school
Cooking (cups to grams), travel (miles to km, USD to EUR), DIY (inches to cm), data (GB to MB) — the categories people actually reach for, one tap away.
Capabilities
- Length, weight, temperature, volume, area, speed, time, data
- Cooking measures — cups, grams, ounces, tablespoons
- Currency conversion with cached offline rates
- Rate timestamps — always see how fresh a rate is
- Fully offline unit conversions
- No ads, no account, no tracking
- Copy results to clipboard in one tap

Proof, not adjectives
- Catalog status: Planned (Pass)
- Creytix Convert passed the app-store catalog review — this page describes the product as designed. The app is queued for build.
- Free by catalog
- Standalone rent is priced at Free (est.) and membership at Free — the whole point is a utility with no monetization hooks.
- Offline units are trivially verifiable
- Unit conversion is deterministic arithmetic with published constants — there's nothing to phone home about, so nothing does.
What they offer vs everything we offer
Converter apps split into two camps: currency apps stuffed with ads, and spare open-source unit converters that skip currency entirely. Convert does both, with neither camp's compromises.

Buy it or rent it — your call
Every Creytix tool carries both prices. Buy it outright and own it forever, or rent it month to month — renting is always cheaper than buying. No per-seat traps, no forced bundle.

Do currency conversions work offline?
With cached rates, yes. Convert stores the latest rates from your last connection and keeps converting with them, showing you the timestamp so you know exactly how fresh the rate is. Live rates need connectivity — that's true of every converter — but you're never stranded without an answer.
Which units are covered?
Length, weight, temperature, volume, area, speed, time, data storage, fuel economy, and cooking measures (cups, grams, ounces, tablespoons, teaspoons). Currency covers the world's major traded currencies.
Why is offline conversion a selling point? Isn't everything online?
Unit conversion is arithmetic with published constants — a server adds nothing but latency, tracking, and a failure point. Doing it on-device means it's instant, private, and works in airplane mode. Currency is the only category that needs fresh data, and cached rates cover that.
Is there really no advertising?
None. No banners, no interstitials, no 'sponsored' currency pairs. Currency-converter apps are notorious for ad density; Convert ships without an ad SDK entirely.
How fresh are the currency rates?
Rates refresh whenever you're connected, and every conversion shows the rate's timestamp. If the rate is a day old, you'll see that it's a day old — no silent staleness.

Why your converter app works in airplane mode (and should)
Unit conversion is arithmetic with published constants — a server adds nothing but latency and tracking. Here’s which conversions genuinely need the internet, and which never did.
