Creytix Spend
Track spending by hand. Your bank stays out of it.
A manual, private expense tracker — log spending in seconds, see where it goes, export to CSV — with no bank linking, no account aggregation, no data leaving your device.
Know where your money went, without telling anyone.
What it does for you
No bank linking. Ever.
Most budget apps want your bank credentials — then upsell you on the sync. Spend never asks: every entry is typed by you, which means no credential honeypot and no third party reading your transactions.
Manual entry builds awareness
Typing '$4.50 coffee' takes three seconds and makes the spending real in a way auto-import never does. The friction is the feature — it's what makes the habit stick.
CSV export is free
Your data leaves as a clean CSV whenever you want — for spreadsheets, taxes, or just leaving. Some trackers gate export behind Pro; here it's table stakes.
Private by architecture
No account, no cloud sync, no analytics on your spending. A private expense tracker that phones home about your expenses would be a contradiction — so it doesn't.

Proof, not adjectives
- Catalog status: Planned (Pass)
- Creytix Spend passed the app-store catalog review — this page describes the product as designed. The app is queued for build.
- Free by catalog
- Standalone rent is priced at Free (est.) and membership at Free — CSV export included, not gated.
- No-linking is checkable
- An app with no bank-linking code can't leak bank credentials — the absence is the guarantee, and it's auditable.
What they offer vs everything we offer
Expense trackers want to be your bank's dashboard — link everything, sync always, pay for the privilege. Spend is the opposite bet: manual, private, and free, because awareness beats automation for most people.

Isn't manual entry tedious compared to bank sync?
It's slower, honestly — that's the trade. Bank sync is effortless and teaches you nothing; typing each expense takes seconds and makes spending conscious. Studies on the 'pain of paying' consistently show manual tracking changes behavior more. If you want automation, Spendee's paid sync is the honest alternative — Spend is for people who want the awareness.
How is this different from Monefy?
Monefy is the closest thing to Spend — manual, simple, mostly free, with a ~$2.49 Pro unlock for extras like CSV export and Dropbox sync. Spend matches that shape but keeps CSV export free and adds budgets and recurring entries at the free price, with no paid tier at all.
Where does my financial data go?
Nowhere. No account, no cloud sync, no analytics. Your entries live on your device and leave only as a CSV you export yourself. An expense tracker that uploads your spending to someone's server would defeat its own premise.
Can I track income too, or just spending?
Both — income entries, recurring paychecks, and monthly budgets, so you see the full picture: what's coming in, what's going out, and what's left.
What about shared budgets with a partner?
The no-account, on-device design means no real-time shared wallets — that's the honest limitation. For couples, CSV export/import covers reconciliation; real-time sharing would need accounts, which is the trade Spend chose not to make.
