Creytix Focus

A Pomodoro timer that respects your attention — including from itself.

A focus timer with free stats and streaks: customizable work/break intervals, session history, and streak tracking — no paid tier gating your own data.

Start the timer. Do the work. That's the whole app.

What it does for you

  • Stats and streaks are free

Your focus history is your data. Session counts, total focus time, daily streaks, weekly trends — all of it free, not held hostage behind a subscription like some competitors' analytics.

  • Your intervals, your rules

Classic 25/5 Pomodoro, 52/17, 90-minute deep-work blocks — set any work length, short break, long break, and sessions-per-cycle. The technique is yours to tune.

  • No gamified guilt trips required

No dying trees, no shaming feeds. Focus uses quiet streaks and honest stats — motivation without the emotional manipulation layer.

  • Distraction-free by construction

A timer app shouldn't be another slot machine. No ads, no social feed, no streak-freeze upsells — open it, start it, put the phone down.

Capabilities

  • Customizable Pomodoro intervals (work, short break, long break)
  • Free session stats — counts, hours, trends
  • Free streak tracking with weekly view
  • Session history that never expires
  • Gentle start/end chimes (no jarring alarms)
  • Works offline — it's a timer
  • No ads, no account, no gamified guilt
  • Pause and resume without losing the session

What they offer vs everything we offer

Focus apps range from paid-up-front classics to free gamified timers. The pattern: your own statistics are often the thing they charge for. Focus keeps stats and streaks free.

Questions, answered honestly

What is the Pomodoro Technique, exactly?

Work in focused intervals (traditionally 25 minutes), take short breaks (5 minutes), and a longer break after four sessions. The structure beats both marathon grinding and constant task-switching. Focus lets you tune every interval — the 25/5 split is a starting point, not a law.

How is this different from Forest or Flora?

Those are good apps — Forest's tree mechanic genuinely helps some people. The difference is scope and price: Focus is a timer with free stats and streaks, no gamification layer, no paid tier. If the dying-tree guilt motivates you, Forest is the better pick; if you just want a timer that respects you, that's Focus.

Are my stats really free? What's the catch?

They're free. Session counts, total focus time, streaks, weekly trends — the catalog spec prices Focus at free standalone and free in membership. Some focus apps gate analytics behind subscriptions; we think charging you to see your own history is backwards.

Does it block distracting apps?

No — Focus is a timer, not a blocker. App blocking is a different product with real platform trade-offs. If you need hard blocking, pair Focus with your OS's screen-time controls.

Does it work offline?

Yes. It's a timer — all timing, stats, and streaks are local. No connection needed, ever.
