Chat & model tiers
Chat UI with a fast/balanced/strong/premium model tier selector.

Preview — early access. Tier definitions and available models are still being finalized.
Overview
Not every task needs your most expensive model. Creytix Dev's chat interface lets you pick a tier — fast, balanced, strong, or premium — matched to how much reasoning a task actually needs, all billed through your own connected key rather than a shared Creytix pool.
How it works
- Pick a tier before or during a chat — fast for quick lookups and small edits, up to premium for hard, multi-step reasoning.
- The tier maps to a model choice on your connected provider; Creytix routes the request, it doesn't quietly substitute a different provider behind your back.
- Usage is logged by tier and task, so you can see where your own spend is going.
Steps
- •
Open Creytix Dev chat
From the Control Panel, open the Dev chat panel.
- •
Choose a tier
Pick fast, balanced, strong, or premium for the task at hand.
- •
Send the task
Chat, ask for a change, or hand off a multi-step task at the tier you selected.
- •
Check usage
Review which tier and model handled the request, and what it cost against your own key.
Capabilities
- Four-tier selector — fast, balanced, strong, premium, mapped to real model choices.
- Per-task tier switching — change tiers mid-project as task difficulty changes.
- Usage visibility — see which tier handled which request and what it cost.
Limits & honest scope
Tier-to-model mapping depends on which provider keys you've connected — if you haven't connected a key for a given tier's usual model, that tier isn't available to you yet.
- This is a preview surface; tier definitions and available models are still being finalized.
- It doesn't auto-select the "best" tier for you today — you choose it, task by task.
