Overview

When a Creytix Dev agent hits a decision only a person can make — "which of these looks right?" — it doesn't guess and it doesn't stall the conversation waiting on a separate approval screen. It posts a review card right there in the IDE chat, with the actual options laid out as images, audio, or video, so you can see, hear, or watch them before you decide.

How it works

  1. The agent reaches a point where it needs a human call — a visual pick, a sound check, a clip to review.
  2. It posts an inline card in the chat with the candidate options, rendered in whatever medium fits: images side by side, an audio player, or an embedded video.
  3. You review the options right where you're already working, then pick one and add a comment.
  4. The agent picks up your choice and comment and continues the task.

Steps

  1. Wait for a review card

When an agent needs your input, a review card appears inline in the Dev chat with the options to choose from.

  2. See, hear, or watch each option

Images render inline, audio plays with a built-in player, and video plays in place — no downloading files or switching tools.

  3. Pick your option

Select the option you want. The card records your choice.

  4. Comment by typing or speaking

Add a note explaining your pick, or why you rejected the others — type it, or speak it and let Creytix Dev transcribe it into your comment automatically.

Capabilities

  • Inline review cards — decisions happen in the same chat thread as the task, not a separate approval queue.
  • Multi-media options — images, audio, and video all render directly in the card.
  • Type or speak your comment — voice input is transcribed into a written note attached to your pick.
  • Agent hand-off — once you choose, the agent continues the task using your selection and comment as guidance.

Limits & honest scope

Review Gate is the human-decision surface for Creytix Dev — it doesn't make the call for you, and it doesn't generate the options itself; the requesting agent supplies those.

  • It's built for point-in-time picks (choose one of these), not open-ended freeform review or multi-round critique threads.
  • Voice transcription quality depends on your input device and environment; always check the transcribed note before sending.
  • Review Gate surfaces choices; it doesn't replace a full audit trail or versioned approval history.
