Overview

Creytix Dev is built so people who aren't professional developers can still build with confidence. Hover for a "what is this" explainer, turn on Explaining Mode in the IDE status bar (Off / Explain / Terms / Lesson), and right-click coding terms for a plain-language definition — without leaving the IDE.

Terms color-codes the room you are speaking in: Designer (overlay, lockup), Developer (commit, deploy), Corporate (intake, Policy Foundry), Investor (runway), Industry, SEO, and AEO. Lesson recaps what the previous session meant. Agents still restate visual work first: "so this is what you want me to do."

How it works

1. Rest your cursor over an item in the IDE — a button, a panel, a piece of output — and after a short pause an info icon appears.
2. Click the icon to open a plain-language popover explaining what that item is and what it does.
3. Right-click any coding term in the chat or output, and Creytix Dev looks it up and shows a definition written for someone learning as they go, not a professional glossary entry.
4. Both aids stay inline — you never lose your place in the IDE to go read documentation elsewhere.

Steps

   Pause your cursor over any item in the IDE. An info button appears after a moment.

   Click for a plain-language explainer

   Click the info button to open a short, non-technical explanation of what you're looking at.

   Right-click an unfamiliar term

   See a coding term you don't know in the chat or in output? Right-click it.

   Read the definition

   A plain-language definition opens on the spot — no need to search or ask someone else.

• Right-click term lookup — instant definitions for coding terms encountered in the flow of work.
• Stays in context — both aids appear inline in the IDE, so you never break focus to go look something up.

Limits & honest scope

Learn as you go is a set of in-context learning aids, not a full course or a substitute for hands-on practice.

• Explaining Mode does not auto-translate every historical chat. Lesson is derived from AGENT_ACTIVE_THREAD.md plus the catalog.
• Explainer and definition coverage is still growing — not every item or term has one yet, and some entries are more detailed than others.
• Definitions favor plain language over technical precision; if you need an authoritative reference, this isn't it yet.
• It won't teach you a concept end-to-end — it answers the question in front of you, in the moment you have it.
• SuperPrompt stays the brief product. This does not fork it.
