Is the Creytix IDE the same thing as Creytix Dev?
They're closely related, not identical. Creytix Dev is the conceptual department — the model router, BYOK vault, and agent capabilities. The Creytix IDE is the actual workspace those capabilities run in: the file tree, editor, and tabbed surfaces you use day to day.
Do I need the desktop app, or is the browser IDE enough?
The browser IDE covers most day-to-day work. You need the desktop app specifically for a working embedded terminal on a hosted deploy, the local-Claude brain (no API key), and real screenshot/recording protection. See Creytix IDE overview.
What's the difference between a Module, a Connect tool, and Moonshot?
A Module is one of the eight departments. A Connect tool is an individual fleet service inside Creytix Connect. Moonshot is the forward-looking, honestly-labeled roadmap tier. Full definitions: Core concepts.
Why does one department call something "Playbooks" and another call it "Routines"?
They're the same feature at different points in time — Routines is the current, broader name (built-ins plus an activatable marketplace); older references to "Playbooks" mean the same tab.
Can an AI model in the IDE write directly to my files?
No. Every model response is a proposed diff you review and apply — nothing writes to disk without that step, regardless of which model answered.
Is there a mobile app?

Where do I report something that looks wrong in the docs themselves?
Cross-check the tier badge on the page first — many "this seems off" reports turn out to be an honestly-labeled Building or Preview feature. If it's still wrong, raise it with your Creytix contact.
